The conversation turns towards Zopf's luck with girls and one in particular he apparently has liked 'forever'. Walter takes up quietly, impatiently pacing as he waits for the interview to be over. He's still paying attention - very close attention - but it's just inane chatter and not really of any great importance to anyone or anything.
